The event

During a hailstorm with hailstones up to 8 cm in diameter, the FLORTEX® 55/500 nonwoven fabric protected the oxygen barrier film of a silage clamp. The waterproof black sheet covering another clamp, by contrast, suffered numerous cuts and tears.

The result

Thanks to its robust structure and impact-absorbing capacity, FLORTEX® 55/500 limited the damage to the underlying barrier film and helped preserve the integrity of the silage.
