FLORTEX® 55/160 is the nonwoven cover for hay, straw and corn stalk bales stored in the field.
Hydrophobic and breathable properties
FLORTEX® 55/160 does not retain moisture but promotes air circulation. This process prevents mould formation and preserves the nutritional value of the forage.

Two people can cover a stack of approximately 120 bales in one hour. FLORTEX® 55/160 guarantees efficient, fast and quality installation.
Resistance and reusability
The cover adapts to any type of bale stack, both round and square, of hay, straw and corn stalks. Each roll is individually packaged and placed on pallets. FLORTEX® 55/160 is UV-treated and reusable for multiple seasons.

- Highly breathable and hydrophobic: allows water to run through and, thanks to an optimal stack angle of 60°, facilitates water drainage, keeping the forage dry.
- Mould protection: the special green colour of FLORTEX® attracts solar rays, accelerating transpiration and condensation dispersal, eliminating the risk of mould.
- Durability and resistance: designed to resist tears and animal damage, FLORTEX® 55/160 is UV-treated and can last at least 3 seasons, with extended durability depending on latitude.
- Ease of use and versatility: lightweight yet resistant, it is easy to handle and install. Repairable with patches and silicone. The fluffy surface ensures adhesion to the forage without lifting, allowing air to circulate freely.
- Reduced disposal costs: FLORTEX® 55/160 is made from recyclable polypropylene. Thanks to its multi-year service life, it significantly reduces packaging waste compared to single-use polyethylene covers, with benefits in terms of disposal costs and workspace organisation.
- Practical and adaptable design: reversible and modular, it can be used on both sides and adapted to any stack size. The strap tape allows covers to be joined together. Available in a wide range of formats.
