Newmat®
It is a three-dimensional geomat made of entangled polypropylene filaments, effective against soil erosion caused by water and wind.
NewMat® is used for soil erosion control in the construction of cut-slope embankments, landfill capping, riverbanks and, in general, on all slopes with an inclination not exceeding 45°.
NewMat® R is the reinforced version in which the geomat is coupled with a polyester geogrid. This type is used on steep slopes.
The product's environmental performance is documented in the Environmental Product Declaration EPD-IES-0023869, verified by an independent third party. The product bears the CE mark.

Main functions
Erosion control
JuteNet®, StrawMat® and SintexMat® erosion control mats protect the soil surface from rainfall and surface runoff, promoting vegetation establishment on slopes and riverbanks.
Reinforcement
Geodren® woven geotextiles and Edilgrid® geogrids reinforce the soil, improving its tensile strength and enabling the construction of structures that would otherwise not be feasible.
