Flexible gabions

Flexible gabions are structures designed to be filled with inert materials in dry and safe areas and installed using simple lifting equipment, ensuring safer working conditions for site workers compared to traditional systems.

Edilfloor offers two references: Filter Unit, a polyester mesh bag fillable with 2, 4 or 8 tonnes of inert material; Gridmattress, a geonet mattress panel.

Both are used for coastal and fluvial erosion protection, slope and seabed stabilisation, submarine pipeline ballasting, temporary river crossings and emergency hydrogeological interventions.
