Landfill for solid and liquid waste
Landfills represent one of today's most complex engineering challenges, where the use of geosynthetics can help address a wide range of technical requirements, both from a chemical-physical standpoint (acidic environment and high temperatures) and from a mechanical perspective (significant loads and stresses).
In landfill applications, geosynthetic materials are used in foundation layers, slope stabilisation, and the collection of rainwater, leachate and biogas, performing protection, separation, filtration, drainage and barrier functions.
