Sludge Dewatering

Dewatering technology has established itself over the last decade. It is used in the presence of sediment-contaminated sludge, mining sludge, drilling sludge, sludge from complex industrial processes and livestock farming waste.

Edilfloor produces SintexTube®/D filter tubes, made from woven geotextiles specifically designed for these applications. Thanks to the filtering capacity of the fabric, the tube effectively separates the liquid phase from the solid phase.

Where necessary, the sludge can be combined with suitable flocculants to accelerate sedimentation and facilitate the separation of the two phases. Once separation is complete, the resulting materials are treated and disposed of separately in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
