Geodren® W-PP
It is a woven geotextile made by interlacing UV-stabilised black polypropylene tapes with excellent mechanical and permeability properties. It can be used for reinforcement, separation and filtration functions.
Thanks to a high elastic modulus, Geodren® W-PP is the ideal product for stabilising low-bearing-capacity soils and increasing the bearing capacity at the base of road and railway embankments.
Geodren® W-PP is available in rolls with heights varying between 5.20 and 5.30 m, with tensile strengths ranging from 14 to 105 kN/m.
It guarantees high tensile strength with low elongation at break and, like all Edilfloor geosynthetics, is manufactured in compliance with ISO 9001 standards and bears the mandatory CE mark.

Main functions
Reinforcement
Geodren® woven geotextiles and Edilgrid® geogrids reinforce the soil, improving its tensile strength and enabling the construction of structures that would otherwise not be feasible.
Separation
The Geodren® nonwoven geotextile keeps soil layers of different particle sizes separated, preserving the structural integrity of the embankment and reducing construction costs.
Filtration
The Geodren® geotextile retains fine soil particles while allowing water to pass through freely, performing an effective and long-lasting filtration function.
